The art of letting go

Letting go is an illusion. It doesn’t exist. Why do we persistently believe we are magicians? Holding on to a fake ego based belief that is supposed to be the answer in coping with uncomfortable feelings, bad experiences and people who’ve hurt us, doesn’t bring us any further. In the wide open space there’s no difference. No distinction between me and you, the beginning and the end, the horizon and beyond.

One flat line of vastness.

You simply can’t let go of something that’s part of that same infinite universe.

You can let it be.

So stop fighting against something that belongs to you in essence. Just give it the space in all openness. Let it be lifted up by the whirlwind that passes by once in a while. As a light feather, released from all its heaviness and being blown to a place where it is ok to just be. From there you can just look at it from a distance. If you want. Honoring that it’s there and that it brought you here, in the same time not being distracted by it all the time. It’s ok. And focus on that what’s right in front of you.

The beauty of life.
